Supporting Neurodivergence

Live life to the full

Understanding Neurodiversity

Neurodiversity refers to the idea that neurological differences, such as those seen in autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other conditions, are simply a natural part of human variation. These differences are not inherently negative but instead offer valuable diversity in thinking and behaviour. Celebrating neurodiversity helps to create a more inclusive and accepting world where people with these conditions are recognized for their unique talents and perspectives.

The Role of Homeopathy

Homeopathy treats the individual as a whole, focusing not only on physical symptoms but also on emotional and mental wellbeing. I have worked with patients to:

  • Reduce Anxiety and Stress
  • Regulate Emotions
  • Improve Focus and Attention
  • Decrease Compulsive and Repetitive Behaviours
  • Resolve Sleep Difficulties

By using remedies that align with the person’s constitution, homeopathy offers gentle support to manage these symptoms without the side effects often associated with traditional treatments.

Feedback from patients and their families

Working with patients who identify as neurodiverse (with or without a diagnosis) is very rewarding and I love hearing feedback after prescribing remedies. Here are some recent comments from patients and their families:

“After taking the remedy that Holly prescribed, he was noticeably calmer and able to deal with stressful situations more easily. He does not shout as often or for as long as before.” T.P.

“The remedy has worked amazingly! I’ve been sleeping through the night and feel like a different person.” L.G.

“He has stopped sucking and biting his clothes. He hasn’t been in trouble at school and his concentration has been better.” C.O.

“He has been better at school. He has gone from 50% negative comments from teachers, to under 25% negative. He’s trying super hard now at home and school.” I.S.

“She’s calmer and hasn’t been so aggressive,” T.B.

A Holistic Approach

Homeopathy is just one of many tools that can support individuals in managing the symptoms of neurodivergence and it’s essential to remember that each person is unique.
